On my way driving to church, which by the way is a lovely drive, I had a few passing thoughts that were rather impactful..
I was thinking of something that happened recently that was, difficult to put simply. It caused me to go through lots of thoughts and emotions, many of which were not positive..
While I was driving I thought, what positive things or blessings, came from that experience.
Both of what happened preceding it, and when it happened.
It reminds me of the quote:
and not only looking at the positive that came from my situation before,
but the positive that came because of the change. (that's a BIG one!)
In this moment the reality of
1. How well God knows me
and 2. How much He blessed me
Helped me see and feel: How much God loves me!
Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being
evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more
shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
2 Nephi 26: 24 He doeth not anything save it be for the benefit of the
world; for he loveth the world, even that he layeth down his own life that he
may draw all men unto him
Doctrine and Covenants
122: 7 And if thou shouldst be cast into the pit, or
into the hands of murderers, and the sentence of death passed upon thee; if
thou be cast into the deep; if the billowing surge conspire against thee; if
fierce winds become thine enemy; if the heavens gather blackness, and all the
elements combine to hedge up the way; and above all, if the very jaws of hell
shall gape open the mouth wide after thee, know thou, my son, that all these
things shall give thee experience, and shall be for thy good.
2 Nephi 26: 24 He doeth not anything save it be for the benefit of the world; for he loveth the world, even that he layeth down his own life that he may draw all men unto him
